A cannabis factory was discovered in Meadow Street, Avonmouth
DRUGS worth £60,000 have been uncovered by police in Avonmouth after they raided a cannabis factory.
Officers were acting on intelligence when they stopped a vehicle in Ullswater Road, Southmead yesterday evening.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a bin bag of cannabis worth around £1,000.
Further enquiries led to the search of a flat in Meadow Street, Avonmouth where a cannabis factory was discovered and drugs believed to be worth £60,000 were seized.
Five people have been arrested in connection with the production and sale of drugs and the investigation continues.
