The figures were revealed under the freedom of information act and state that the numbers are some of the lowest in 3 years. 879 people were caught cultivating cannabis in 2013, while 1,070 were collared in 2012.
One of the biggest farms found in Greater Manchester area was a 5 bedroom woodland property that had been converted to produce around 400k worth of cannabis.
