Woman Swap City Living for a Countryside Cannabis Farm
They go by the name @girlsgoneoffgrid on Instagram and they have chosen to leave their life in the city and move off grid to develop a self sustaining working farm with animals and crops.
They of course cultivate cannabis too and until late 2019 their grow operation was large but following a change in county law that does not allow production for commercial gain this has now been downsized for personal use.
Doris who is founder of the enterprise said - "I was a complete stoner but realized that I could not be high and still productive at the same time so that is why the farm has a strict no smoking policy until the days work is done. Working in the agriculture industry, meeting farmers and seeing all the crap they spray on our food made me realize that I wanted to grow and raise everything I could myself."
