Europe's largest cannabis trade fair returned to Barcelona for its 18th edition last week. Participants from over 50 countries visited the expo at Fira de Cornellà, where cannabis businesses presented their premium seeds, strains, hemp and other products. The event also hosted the 8th edition of the World Cannabis Conferences as well as the Spannabis Champions Cup.

After two years without a physical event, SPANNABIS was back with a bang on March 11-13. Cannabis aficionados, industry representatives, business people and entertainers gathered in Barcelona, a renowned centre of cannabis culture in Europe.

You could see people wearing extravagant costumes, visitors trying out a new bong or munching luscious hemp treats. Over the years, SPANNABIS has established itself as one of the most prominent cannabis expos in the region. The weekend event is a perfect opportunity for people from all parts of the cannabis sector to come together, exchange info and ideas or make new business collaborations.

Participants at this year's event were able to attend the 8th edition of the World Cannabis Conference. Top industry leaders and innovators share the hottest trends across the cannabis sector on this platform. Supported by the International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC), the World Cannabis Conferences is one of the most significant marijuana B2B networking events.

At the same time, the Spannabis Champions Cup attracted seed companies and growers to compete for esteemed best breeder or best grower titles. Other cup categories included for best hemp, paraphernalia product, nutrient, post-cultivation product, and more.

Musicians such as Laura Saldungaray, Purple Rockets, Shakti Alliance, African Warriors and 420 Backyard Battle also took the stage and ensured the energy stayed high throughout all three days of the event.

SPANNABIS 2022 was over before you knew. Attendees went home with full hearts and good memories. Soft Secrets team filmed some of the atmosphere, do check out our video feature.

Until next year, Barcelona!
