Large cannabis farm discovered

In Leeds Police were callled to an address in the city centre after being alerted to a strong aroma.


Officers later discovered over 850 plants growing at the property and believe that the illegal gardeners had been burning old vehicle tyres to try and disguise the smell of cannabis. PC Chad Stevens said: "I have never seen a cannabis farm of such a large scale. It's amazing how they got all of this equipment inside without arousing suspicion."
