Cannabis car drove wrong way on motorway
for 5 miles A 27 year old from London male was arrested by police after he was discovered driving a Ford Galaxy that was packed with cannabis on the wrong side of the motorway.
DCI Paul Bentley, of Staffordshire Police, said: "Thankfully no-one was injured during this incident, which could have easily ended in tragedy.Thanks to proactive policing by colleagues from CMPG, and partnership working between them and local policing officers, we have seized a large amount of drugs and taken a potentially dangerous driver off the road. Our investigation into the incident is still ongoing, with inquiries to trace the second suspect continuing."
