Bubble hash is made by cooling the cannabinoid-filled glands on the surface of leaf and bud so that they become brittle and snap away from the plant in to ice water. The detached glands are then graded through the carefully sized screens and seperated according to their size/maturity. Other methods of making extracts use a solvent to dissolve the glands from the plant. The oil contained in the glands becomes suspended in the solvent. It is then extracted by evaporating the solvent away leaving the cannabinoid oil behind. The problem comes in the evaporation process.
