Best Cannabis Strain Categories

Each participating judge received a bag that holds the entries. All bags carry a print with a cryptogram, so the analysis is completely blind for each judge, preventing any prejudice. The 12 categories of this year's Highlife Cup are as followed: 1. Sativa 2. Indica 3. Medical varieties 4. Kush varieties 5. Skunk varieties 6. Hash 7. Hash extraction 8. Hydro weed 9. Bio weed 10. Auto flower 11. Haze on hydro 12. Haze on soil

How to Test for the Best Cannabis Strains?

On judgment day, each judge is given a score sheet, which presents a scoring system with four subcategories. These are: 1. Appearance 2. Odor 3. Flavor 4. Effect Judges have 8 to 10 weeks to test all samples. The reasoning for this is that each judge can have an unbiased opinion on each strain. Each sample gets rated with a score of 1 to 10 on each subcategory. The 15 man jury for the Highlife Cup is handpicked each year and contains only people who are proven growers and smokers with many years of cannabis experience under their belts. None of these jury members have any connection to any cannabis-related company.
