Man who was worried about cannabis cultivation having implications on his family called police on 999 and made up story about shooting so that officers would get to address quickly.
Giving evidence, May, of Hall Street, Long Melford, near Sudbury, said that he had worked for Deakin as a delivery driver, and had carried out work for Jude installing pig equipment.
“It was not an easy call for me to make.”
