This combination provides very powerful light intensity that reaches deep into even leaf extremities. The lamp remains relatively cool, so excessive temperature is no longer an issue. The three colour groups (red, blue/green, white) can be separately adjusted for a plant to receive the right dose of light at each stage. In addition, lamps can be set at 8 different timer cycles, so a grower can start the day with low light intensity, then increase it to the maximum, and finally dim the light again to total darkness at the end of the day. This simulates natural sunrise and sunset, which avoids causing useless stress to the plant. K5 lamps are operated by a remote control.
