Dolan A 16-year-old boy faces up to 8 years of prison for allegedly making marijuana-laced brownies with his parents and bringing them to Valparaiso High School in Indiana. The Post-Tribune reported that police and school officials received an anonymous tip last Friday that the teen had brought the marijuana brownies to school. They found a plastic container and metal baking pan with brownie crumbs that smelled like marijuana in the student's locker. When confronted, the teen first said he was joking about bringing marijuana brownies to school. He later admitted to selling and giving away the brownies, which were made with half an ounce of marijuana. The student said he made the brownies with his parents the morning before school. The teen has been charged with dealing marijuana on school property, a Class C felony that is punishable by up to 8 years of prison and a $10,000 fine.
