two weeks into the grow
For the seeds provided I will place them into root riot cubes, I will also use coconut water as a fertiliser adding 15ml to each litre of filtered tap water soaking the root riots before placing them into a tub next to my water tank heater to germinate.
When the seed has germinated and showing the first two leaves, I shall place them into a 8litre plant pot using a coco coir medium soil. I will also have a 250wt hps light on this for a 20/4 light cycle and keeping a nice distance from my plant to avoid burning her and drying out to quickly, around two weeks into the grow and I’m certain the roots have started to grow properly and the plant starts rising up nicely I will switch to a 400wt hps bulb, when she starts flowering I will switch to a 600 at hps bulb these lights will be risen to the top of my grow tent to act like the sun rather than directly over them I find this way can control temperatures easier too.
Next up i will use coconut water, only as a fertiliser once every two days instead of chemical formulas. I will also be placing a small oil filled radiator to keep the plant nice and warm inside the grow tent and only using this when the light is off so the temperatures won’t drop to much , humidity levels I will keep at 40-45% untill she starts to flower then I will drop it down to 35% and again to 30% to hopefully make her produce more resin.
Throughout her life cycle for the four hours a day she is resting I will be playing music for house plants off YouTube and placing the speaker near the grow tent as I believe this does help her to grow fan leaves will be trimmed when then flowering starts
