The Best Marijuana Dispensaries In America
Now that weed is over a $5 billion dollar industry, more states are hopping on to the legalization bandwagon. Now that people can avoid the seedy-underbelly areas where they used to have to cop a dime bag, there are a ton of dispensaries popping up that are, for lack of a better term, fucking beautiful.
For those of you that don't know, we are constantly on the road popping up booths at music festivals and concerts, so we are lucky enough to get to drive across the USA over and over. In doing so, we obviously had to stop at as many different dispensaries as possible! These are the most beautiful pot shops we have found in America.
1) The Grove - Las Vegas, Nevada

The Grove looks like it belongs right on the strip next to the Bellagio. We were greeted with a beautiful green storefront, and a nice leaf logo to top it all off. Since they're in Las Vegas, you know they had to be baller - they sold pre-rolls that used gold leaf as the paper!

This one scored extra points because they had a PR event going on with Snoop Dogg when we visited. This dispensary was located minutes next to the airport we landed at in Seattle, so the first thing we did was hop a Lyft right over! The driver was funny enough to let us know how many people he took there from the airport, and then to their hotels.

From the moment we walked in, this place greeted us like we had been life-long patients. They had beautiful wooden display cases, and everyone acted like we were in an episode of Cheers where everyone knows each other. Their mission statement has no gimmicks - they are only active so that they can bring high quality cannabis to patients who need medical relief.

We don't think we need to justify the fact that we visited multiple dispensaries in under 48 hours while we were in Vegas for a convention. This one was absolutely incredible. The decor made me feel like I was in a Marijuana themed version of Resident Evil - trust me, if you visit, you'll know what I mean. This place was so legit they even had a certified nurse on staff at all working hours.

We only came here because of the name. Even though the black market still dominates marijuana sales in Detroit, this place definitely keeps it classy. Hell, they even opened up on 8 Mile Road. Maybe our boy Marshall Mathers is a part owner?
6) Ballpark Holistic Dispensary - Denver, Colorado

Don't let the granny-sounding name fool you; this place is legit. They had over 18 strains in stock, all of them super green and sticky - none of that law shelf shit. The company even has their own signature strain called the Denver Maple, which was selected as one of the best Indica strains at the 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup.
7) Swell Farmacy - Youngtown, Arizona

Swell Farmacy is definitely one of the dispensaries who is doing it right. They actively ask every patient why they need to use medical cannabis so that they can tailor their recommendations to the patient's ailments. They also provide a discount to every veteran, active military, and PTSD suffering patient.

In case you couldn't tell, we love traveling to Washington. Spokane, however, has one of our favorite dispensaries in the entire country. Damn, I mean, their company motto is straight up "we smoke weed every day". I can stand behind that pretty easily. They also aim to provide the most affordable pot on the east coast of Washington, with all flower selling for less than $10 per gram, pre rolls only costing $5 - and trust me, it's some real serious dank.

Nectar is one of the largest chain dispensary companies in Oregon, but don't let that stop you from checking it out. They take their supply seriously, and meticulously track where every plant is grown - they're just like the Starbucks of weed.
10) The Greenhouse - Glendale, Arizona

While very corporate feeling, The Greenhouse has an incredible flower selection. It does feel like a CVS though, where they enroll you into a rewards program where you get a $50 store credit for every $400 spent. Not a bad deal, if you live in the Glendale area. Here in LA where we live, they just give us a free gram after spending $350.
11) Infinite Wellness Center - Fort Collins, Colorado

Repeat after me: The Matrix Of Weed. Infinite Wellness was nice enough to let us snap a pic of the inside of their shop since we were blown away. Every product has a digital display with into, and updated prices were displayed on massive LCD screens behind the bar. They had over 35 strains when we visited, and all of them were fire.
12) Humboldt Patient Resource Center - Arcata, California

This shop has been in business for over 17 years, and we can see why very easily. It feels more like a doctor's appointment than the trip to Electric Daisy Carnival atmosphere you see at Los Angeles dispensaries - but this is done so that each patient can receive very specialized, individualized assistance with strain selection.

We loved the name of the dispensary, and the fact that it was in a town called Beaverton. This pot shop cultivates rich relationships with local growers, which means that they have the best sticky in Beaver Town! We were lucky enough to visit on Medible Monday, so we got our treats at 10% off.

Don't let the house-style storefront fool you, KIND has some of the best indicas we have ever smokes - we were taking a nap at our hotel within an hour of visiting! They are a family owned operation, and one of the largest local caregivers in the Lansing area.
15) Preferred Organic Therapy - Denver, Colorado

Yet another of our Denver favorites, Preferred Organic Therapy never fails to disappoint! They are considered one of the top pot shops in Denver, and have multiple awards to prove it. They have a brand new remodeled shop that used sleek glass that makes it look like the inside of a Star Trek ship.

We pop in here every now and again since we're LA locals, but they never fail to disappoint! The shop is designed more like a hipster art gallery than a dispensary, but their strains are all still fire. If you visit, tell em Kush Crate sent ya! Oh, and there's a dope mexican joint next door. The burritos are killer - get the carnitas.
17) Healing Tree Wellness Center - Detroit, Michigan

Healing Tree is another shop on the famous 8 Mile road. A gram will run you about $8, but the quality is still top notch. They also sell you shake for $3 per gram, which is never a bad deal. They also have an all-organic section!
18) White Mountain Health Center - Sun City, Arizona
Check it out here
Even though Sun City feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, they still have some bomb ass flower. The owner and master grower, who we had the pleasure of meeting, is a gentlemen named Butch Williams. He was able to open up shop even after being fiercely opposed by the surrounding neighborhoods. The shop is also decorated with crazy old pharmaceutical equipment and trippy art.

This is yet another shop we had to visit just because of the name. Everything is in a crazy awesome glass display case, and the staff is welcome and knows the answer to every weed question in the world. They also pride themselves in their super discrete parking lot in back.
20) Purple Star MD - San Fransisco, California

Located right in the center of the Mission District, Purple Star MD provides patients with only the top quality flower available. They cater to a more affluent clientele, so feel free to pick up one of their $300 bongs on the way out.
21) Lightshade Havana - Aurora, Colorado

Lightshade has been providing patients with quality products since 2011. They also have some of the most potent supply in the state. They only sell buds they grow in their own state-of-the-art facilities.

Tru | Med has gone out of their way to put a spin on the traditional dispensary layout - and let me tell you, it's working. The waiting area is covered with nice soothing tones coming from high end speakers, and the seats are uber comfy. They also feature a dedicated concentrates bar, which looks like a bakery bar!

Yes, they do play jazz inside the shop. The store has been open since 2015, and has welcomed every member of the local community. The staff has taken extra special care to remember the ailments of each individual patient.

This location was actually founded by fitness-enthusiasts who see the health benefits of marijuana, and want to educate people as such! This boutique style collective grows their own flower on-site, so you know it's pure and always fresh.

Yet ANOTHER of our favorites is again in our home state! Caliva is lined with beautiful wooden panels, and filled with beautiful herbs and concentrates. The store is so pretty, it looks like an REI turned into a pot shop!
