Petition against criminalization of growshops
In response to yesterday's events, I decided to write a petition. Petition against criminalization of stores with cultivation equipment (growshops)
Recipient: Government of the Czech Republic
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We, the undersigned, urge the country's leaders to stop police intervention and legal action filed against the owners of shops with cultivation equipment, called growshops.
GROWSHOP offer only legal goods. The notion, that their goods are purchased for the purpose of committing a crime, which in most cases is not true, should not be a reason to ruin them, to which will be inevitably the result of police intervention and confiscation of goods. Confiscating pots, fertilizers, plastic bags, irrigation systems, smoking accessories - it has no parallel in the history of our country, except perhaps nationalization after the Second World War.
That's why we ask you to immediately cease all criminal prosecutions and other legal actions brought against the owners of these shops.
